"Controlling the mic at Vatican II"

While this incident is well-known, in which the mic was turned of at which Cardinal Alfredo Ottaviani, age 80, the head of what is now the CDF, was speaking at Vatican II, is not well-known (I certainly did not know it) is that this occurred on the third day of the Council, not later when the "progressive" group became more organized. Yes, the same incident is reported by Fr Wiltgen in "The Rhine Flows Into the Tiber." The fix was in right from the start. The Rhine bloc had a game plan before the council even began.

They still yap about throwing open the windows, but they are quieter about who got thrown out of them: the Church as it existed before 1960.
